As collectors descend on London for the numerous art gallery openings this week, Londons Hotels have gone into overdrive accommodating the extra influx of poeple.
This week has been the most exciting in the British art calendar: at least one mega exhibition opening every day in London; the Frieze juggernaut last weekend; blockbusters like Karla Back’s sculptures at Modern Art Oxford; the photography of Martin Parr at Gateshead’s Baltic; and The Long Dark at Manchester’s International, a group show of industrial medievalism. Art lovers have a treat of a week ahead. So how much can one see in a day?

Timati is set to hit the top London Night Clubs after his live performances.
The England football team were in high spirits as they celebrated their 3-0 win against Belarus at Wembley Stadium on Wednesday night at one of the best London Clubs.
With WAG Victoria Beckham at home in LA, Premiership footballer David Beckham, headed to top London night club and celeb haunt Bungalow 8 with a friend.
An inside source said: “As soon as David arrived in the club he was ushered to his table with his male pal but soon after he was surrounded by women who were all vying to get his attention.”
Beckham partied until 3am despite his 7am flight back to LA. I hope he remembered to book a taxi to take him to the airport before bed!
Amy Winehouse’s former husband Blake Fielder-Civil has reportedly been on a string of secret dates with a nightclub stripper.
The 27-year-old former jailbird was said to be smitten with 21-year-old Lauren McDermott in Sheffield.
Newspaper rumours have abounded that Blake went to the club with a few friends and was immediately drawn to Lauren. At the end of the night he gave her his number. He has mentioned that he is trying to “keep out of trouble” and still goes goes for treatment at the clinic where he talks through his problems and tries to adapt to his new drug-free life.
Grunge rocker Courtney Love has told friends she is down to her last £75 and set to be kicked on to the streets. The widow of the legendary Kurt Cobain, 45, said she could not even afford to feed her daughter Frances Bean, 17.
Love, who is living in New York’s Mercer Hotel, texted a pal saying: “I’m f****d now dude. I have 120 bucks, my kid hasn’t had a decent meal and I’m getting evicted.”
The former Hole singer was last month banned from accessing the trust fund left for her daughter when husband Kurt Cobain killed himself in 1994.
She claims she has had more than £300 million stolen from her by fraudsters since 2003 and has even hired investigators to try to track it down.

High-end clothing shop Prada on Old Bond Street was sensationally robbed on Wednesday night.
The store – situated in the prestigious district of Mayfair, opposite Gucci and in the proximity of London clubs Funky Buddha, Mahiki and HeyJo – is the flagship premises in London for the Italian fashion label.
The robbery appeared to have been a simple smash and grab that left the glass from the front door of the boutique shattered and scattered across the street as cold winter weather gripped the October night.
Police officers at the scene of the crime appeared to be clueless although no doubt they will announce investigations are ongoing at some stage on Thursday.
Amy Winehouse is moving on from her failed marriage to Blake Fielder-Civil – she’s reportedly found love with the son of George Foreman, according to new reports.
The Rehab singer is said to be dating the former boxing champ’s son George III, known as Monk, and was overheard gushing about her new romance while visiting The London Clinic following her recent rumoured boob job.
And the 26 year old, who is also a boxer, is even encouraging the troubled star to get into shape, according to The Sun newspaper. A source told the paper: “His name is George Foreman and he boxes, just like his dad. Amy loves that he’s toned and very fit.”
Winehouse divorced Fielder-Civil in July ’09.
X-Factor celebrity Leona Lewis was rushed to hospital on Wednesday afternoon after being slapped in the face at her own book signing in Central London.
The crazed ‘fan’ who attacked the singer waited patiently in the queue at Waterstones Piccadilly before launching himself at 24 year old Leona – but only after she had signed his book.
Security staff quickly restrained the thug while police arrived before the star was taken to a Harley Street Medical Clinic.
A spokeswoman said “Leona’s understandably badly shaken and apologises to the fans she was unable to meet and complete signings for.”
